Medical Care

Access to quality healthcare should never be a privilege. Our medical care programs provide essential services like checkups, treatments, and emergency aid to underserved communities in Haiti. With local clinics supported by our donors, families in Tabarre and Bassin Bleu receive the care they need to live healthier, stronger lives.

Education

We fight hunger through school lunch programs that offer daily meals to children who might otherwise go without. Proper nutrition is key to learning, growth, and development. By feeding young minds and bodies, we’re giving Haitian children the strength and energy to thrive in and out of the classroom.

Nutrition

Education is the foundation of empowerment and opportunity. We support primary schools, trade schools, and after-school programs that give Haitian youth the tools to build better futures. From paying teachers to covering school fees, we ensure every child has a chance to learn, grow, and lead.

Empowering the Vulnerable to Build Independent Futures

In Bassin Bleu, Helping Hands in Haiti is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping individuals and communities with the tools they need to thrive on their own. We support nine school staff and teachers with monthly stipends of $100 USD to provide consistent, quality education—laying the groundwork for lasting change. An $8,000 USD contribution to a community clinic ensures ongoing access to essential medical care. Our trade school, led by four skilled instructors, teaches practical skills that empower youth to create self-sufficient livelihoods and brighter futures.

To foster local sustainability, we’ve developed a chicken farm and community garden that help families secure their own food sources. We’ve also paid school fees through February, removing financial barriers and enabling children to continue their education—helping them grow into capable, independent adults.

School lunch Program

School lunch Program

We operate a school lunch program in Haiti that feeds hundreds of children each day in Bassin Bleu and Tabarre. For many students, this is the only nutritious meal they receive daily. Access To Clean Water

Clean water is a basic human right, and we’re working to make it a reality in rural parts of Haiti. Through well installations, filtration systems, and water access points, we help prevent disease and reduce the burden of water collection on families. These efforts improve daily life and health across entire communities. Clean water truly transforms futures.
