At Helping Hands in Haiti, we are committed to empowering communities in Tabarre and Bassin Bleu through hands-on initiatives that drive real change. From providing school lunches and clean water to offering medical and dental care, we ensure families have access to vital resources. Our programs also support trade education, small business growth, and after-school sports that inspire hope and resilience in Haitian youth.
In Tabarre, Helping Hands in Haiti supports 222 teachers and staff with monthly stipends and provides school lunches for over 300 students, staff, and displaced individuals. We’ve covered school fees through February and hosted an end-of-year celebration—made possible through a joint effort with several dedicated nonprofits.

In Bassin Bleu, Helping Hands in Haiti supports 9 dedicated school staff with monthly stipends of $100 USD, funds a local clinic with $8,000 USD, and employs 4 trade school teachers. Our accomplishments include launching a chicken farm, cultivating a community garden, and covering student school fees through February.
In Bassin Bleu, Helping Hands in Haiti is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping individuals and communities with the tools they need to thrive on their own. We support nine school staff and teachers with monthly stipends of $100 USD to provide consistent, quality education—laying the groundwork for lasting change. An $8,000 USD contribution to a community clinic ensures ongoing access to essential medical care. Our trade school, led by four skilled instructors, teaches practical skills that empower youth to create self-sufficient livelihoods and brighter futures.
To foster local sustainability, we’ve developed a chicken farm and community garden that help families secure their own food sources. We’ve also paid school fees through February, removing financial barriers and enabling children to continue their education—helping them grow into capable, independent adults.
